Holly was married three times. In the first time she was married, it was to Danny Quinn. The two were married in 1991 and divorced two years later in 1993. Jim Carrey and she first began to meet in 1994 when they were trying out in the role of Ace Ventura Pet Detective. While she wasn't offered the role, the two formed a close relationship while filming Dumb and Dumber. They got married in the year 1996. After a short relationship, they divorced in 1997. She married Francis Greco who was born Canadian. After marrying to Greco in 2008, she became the first Canadian. The couple split up at the end of 2014. Holly and her children reside within Oakville Ontario Canada. Holly together with her entire family, including her father Grant and mother Mary founded The A Fund, at Hobart College as well as William Smith Colleges, in 1992 to remember her brother Alexander. Holly recalled that Alexander was "a young man with a lot of hope and desires". In the year 1992, Holly, her father Grant, as well as their families established an A fund at William and Hobart Smith Colleges to honor Alexander, who as Holly explains "was an individual who was full of dreams, hopes, and dreams."

Alaina was born the 8th November 1994 in the home of Kristy as well as J. J. Suddeth from Rossville, Georgia. Her father works in Chattanooga as a technician. Her first singing experience began at the age of three. Her first public performances followed by a children's choir as well as an annual vacation spot that included singing karaoke. She performed in the restaurants, in churches, at family gatherings, and everywhere within 30 miles of her house. Alaina was eight year old when she took home in the Southern Stars Pageant's Talent Competition. In the following year, she was on the Kids' talent stage during Chattanooga Riverbend Festival. She performed on that stage every year until she reached the age of 12, after which she took home the prize that enabled her to appear on the main stage of the festival. At the age of 10 years old, she went to Orlando for the American Model and Talent Competition. She beat out more than 1,500 children in the contest to take home the crown. Alaina was a part of Georgia Country Gospel Music association's Kids' Group. At age 12, Alaina made her first of numerous trips to Nashville. The bar she frequented was Tootsie's bar as well as numerous other bars on Broadway. In 2009, Alaina became the very first contestant to win the WinniSTAR Youth Talent Contest held at the Lake Winnepesaukah amusement park.In addition to singing, Alaina wrote several songs including Leaving and Set Me Free. The cousin of Alaina Holly Witherow was diagnosed with brain cancer. This inspired her to start singing. Prior to Idol, Alaina worked at CiC's Pizza. She attended Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe Senior High School, which is located in Fort Oglethorpe Georgia.
